Water Aspect

Me and some friends have been playing Exalted RPG for some years now. I thought to display my nerdiness and make a shirt of of my character's Aspect symbol.

Since the character is a Water Aspect Dragon Blooded using regular black shirt wouldn't really be suitable. Turquoise would've been a nice choice but I chose a lightish blue even if a darker tone would probably been more appropriate -I don't like dark blue that much and I wanted to print with blue color.

Instead of making a huge symbol covering the whole chest I thought it would look more stylish if the symbol was relatively small, say, roughly the size of a hockey puck, and located on one breast.

The stencil was pretty straightforward to cut even if somewhat intricate due to the size. After the blue color had dried out I used a brush to paint on the white areas, mainly the three center dots as well as the wave crests where I used drybrushing for the lower ends of the foam.
